Silver medal! Reached second place in Playoff A
VJS was one of 31 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Wintercup 2019. They participated with one team in B-girls (2001-2003).
In addition to VJS, 7 other teams played in B-girls (2001-2003). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof VJS could be found in Group A together with Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa, Vasa IFK or ONS. VJS made it to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group A. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against HJK TBSM with 0-4. Thereby VJS finished second in B Playoff A during Wintercup 2019. VJS comes from Vantaa which lies approximately 360 km from Korsholm, where Wintercup takes place. The area around Vantaa does also provide three additional clubs participating during Wintercup 2019 (Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa, FC Honka or HJK TBSM). 5 games playedGoals |
