Vasa IFK was one of 31 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Wintercup 2019. They participated with one team in B-girls (2001-2003).
In addition to Vasa IFK, 7 other teams played in B-girls (2001-2003). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Vasa IFK could be found in Group A together with Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa, VJS or ONS. Vasa IFK made it to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group A. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FC Honka, which they won with 2-0. Thereby Vasa IFK won the entire Playoff B in B-girls (2001-2003) during Wintercup 2019. Vasa IFK originates from Korsholm, which is the same city as where Wintercup takes place.
