Semi was one of 32 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Wintercup 2020. They participated with two teams in Girls 12 (2008) and Girls 15 (2005) respectively. The team in Girls 15 (2005) made it to the the in Group play, but lost it against WFA/SIF yj by 0-2.

In addition to this, Semi have participated in Wintercup before. During Wintercup 2019, Semi had 4 teams playing in Girls 10 (2009), Girls 11 (2008) and Girls 12 (2007) respectively. The team in Girls 12 (2007) made it to the the Sijoitus 9-10 in Playoff Aand won it over FC Sport-j pun. by 2-1.

Semi comes from Seinäjoki which lies approximately 68 km from Korsholm, where Wintercup takes place. Other than Semi, the club IK (Ilmajoen Kisailijat) does also originate from the area around Seinäjoki.
